A clinician reviews the substance involved, current use, relevant medical history, previous treatment and your goals so the next step is based on your situation.
Discuss the appropriate treatment
A physician explains the clinically appropriate options. For opioid use disorder, medication-assisted treatment may include Methadone, Suboxone or Kadian/SROM when appropriate.
Continue medical and pharmacy support
Treatment can include ongoing physician follow-up, medication management and integrated pharmacy support. The schedule and medication plan are individualized.
